Executive Director selected for FL Health Care Asst Liv Committee

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Dear Mr. Barnes:

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been appointed to serve as a member of the FHCA, Florida Center for Assisted Living Committee (FCAL), representing assisted living facility members to improve quality of life and quality of care in Florida’s long-term care (LTC) facilities.

As a member of the FCAL Committee, you have a standing invitation to be an active participant in committee meetings and conference calls as we work together to accomplish goals. Please be aware that FHCA does not reimburse travel costs for committee service. Your participation is important to us; therefore, the Chair and I will work together to ensure meetings are held in the most cost-efficient location (or if applicable, by way of conference call).

The Chair of the FCAL Committee is Steven Rule, Executive Director of Park Summit at Coral Springs, and the Vice Chair is Kristen Calta, Administrator of Hawthorne Inn of Brandon. The FCAL Committee meets Quarterly with a combination of face to face meetings and conference calls. Kim Broom, Director of Clinical and Regulatory Services, is the FHCA Staff Liaison to the FCAL Committee (kbroom@fhca.org ). Again, congratulations on your appointment; we look forward to your active participation and contributions.

Sincerely,

Scott J. Allen, Chair

Gentry Park Orlando knows that caregiver burnout is real when dealing with dementia, and it is also quite hard to allow someone else to step in to provide your loving touch.

We want you to be the spouse, child or friend again and enjoy each day without the burden of having to be there and be responsible for the daily tasks of service and support.

Your loved one deserves extra-special, round the clock care- and you deserve to spend quality time holding hands, listening to music, taking a quiet walk or enjoying time doing the things you love to do!

We are now presenting a great rate for moving your family member into our loving & nurturing Memory Care environment. We boast one of the lowest caregiver to resident ratio in the greater Orlando area- which means your loved one receives more support to reduce the frustrations associated with memory loss.

Contact us now to set up a personalized view of our community and see why Gentry Park Orlando is so different!
